Roy Morris

Roy was born in the East End of London but most of his childhood was spent in Essex, scampering about and causing mischief in woods, countryside and rivers.

As someone who struggled to draw, paint, write, sculpt or play a musical instrument, the frustrated artist within finally found expression through the medium of photography.

He travels extensively, often with fellow photographers, and always relishes the sights and sounds of foreign parts and, more than anything, the local populace. As an observer of humanity, his images lovingly portray people at work, rest and play.
